1. Who we are

Parsons-Fein Training Institute, Inc. (“PFTI,” “we,” “us”) provides on-demand streaming courses and materials about the work of Dr. Milton H. Erickson. If you have questions, email [email protected]

 

2. Information we collect

  • Account & Payment Data — name, email, billing address, card details (processed by Stripe/PayPal), course history.
  • Usage Data — IP address, device type, pages viewed, video-watch progress, referring site.
  • Marketing Preferences — your consents or opt-outs.
  • Cookies & Similar Tech — our site and service providers (Kajabi, Google Analytics, Meta) place cookies and pixels to run the site, remember settings, and measure marketing. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may break.

 

3. How we use your information

4. Sharing & international transfers

We never sell your data. We share it only with:

  • payment processors, email and video-hosting platforms, and analytics providers acting as our service providers / processors;
  • authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Service providers store data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or similar safeguards for cross-border transfers.

 

5. Retention

Transaction records are kept for seven (7) years to meet tax and accounting rules. Mailing-list data is kept until you unsubscribe or two (2) years after your last interaction, whichever comes first. Video-usage logs are anonymised after 18 months.

 

6. Your choices and rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Withdraw marketing consent or click “unsubscribe” in any promo email.
  • Request a portable copy (GDPR/UK users).
  • California residents may ask about categories disclosed, opt out of “sale”/“sharing,” or limit use of sensitive data.

7. Security

We use TLS encryption, role-based access, and industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; please safeguard your password.

 

8. Children

PFTI is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

 

9. Third-party links

Our site may link to external websites or social-media platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

 

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or a site banner 30 days before the new policy takes effect. The latest version is always posted here.
